Called and was given an estimate on welding my mailbox back together and an estimate on when he could get the work done. He drove out of his way to get to my house as promised and not only did a great job with the repair but painted and finished the job as well. The man who came to my house was great! Not only was he friendly and courteous, but he knew his stuff and was a very good welder. He explained what he was doing, told me about the type of welding machine being used, the benefits of laying down the welding bead in a certain way for better strength, etc. The repair looks like it came straight from the factory now. Bennie is professional, courteous, and easy to work with; and he does solid custom fabrication/metalwork/welding. I would work with him again in the future. He has my highest recommendation to anyone that needs any metalwork/custom fab. The finished products (a squat rack frame and the reinforcements for a dumbbell rack; photos attached) are functional, practical, and look factory built. He was beyond patient with the multiple plans/revisions I made for the frame that fits my PRX Profile rack, and he provided valuable input into the design that saved time and money. He allowed me to work with him (cutting, sanding, priming, painting, welding, etc.), which I was super appreciative of (I enjoy that kind of work) but I know he is more than capable of doing the entire thing himself, if required. We had an urgent situation requiring a welder asap (on a Saturday). I contacted Bennie and he responded right away, came out to assess the same day and was back the next day (a cold, wet, Sunday) to get the job done. He showed up when he said he would, he communicated very well before, during and after the job. He cleaned up after himself and he & his helper definitely went well above and beyond to get this particular job done. We are so glad we found him when we did.
